From the Airport
Once you land at the Calgary International Airport, there are a few options to get to The Banff Centre:
1. Shuttle Bus to Banff
-Receive 15% off when you book through The Banff Airporter using promotional code ‘cloud14’ or call (888) 449-2901 and mention that you are attending The Cloud Factory conference to receive the discount.
-This brings the one-way price to $50.74 (inc GST) and return to $101.47.
-You can also book a private shuttle for 12-20 people with The Banff Airporter.
2. Rent a Car
-A list of car rental companies are available here.
-Keep in mind that the Park Fees are $9.80 per adult per day or $19.60 per day for a car with 2-7 people. You can find more info on the Parks Canada website.
3. Private Limo, Sedan or Taxi - contact Banff Sedan.
1. Take the Trans-Canada Highway 1 West (signs point to Banff).
2. Continue West approximately 90 km on the Trans-Canada Highway 1 and eventually this will take you through the park gates.
3. Once through the park gates, continue approximately 10 km and take the first exit to the town of Banff.
Getting Around Banff
During the conference, there are a few options for getting to/from the Banff Centre and around the town of Banff:
1. Taxi Service (Call 1-800-651-4358 for Banff Taxi)
2. Public Bus System
3. Walk – it is about a 10 min walk (Keep in mind, returning to The Banff Centre is uphill)
Getting Around The Banff Centre
You can find maps and directions for the Banff Centre here. The conference will be taking place in the Kinnear Centre and accommodations are in the Professional Development Centre.
Parking at The Banff Centre
Long-term parking is available in two locations on campus: the underground parkade on the north side of campus and the visitor parking lot on the south end of campus. Short term parking is available throughout campus, as noted on the campus map. Check-in is at the Professional Development Centre. Campus directories are located at the two entrances.
Where to Stay
The Cloud Factory is being held at The Banff Centre, a spectacular 43 acre facility located in the heart of downtown Banff, Alberta. The Banff Centre is the largest arts and creativity incubator on the planet and is nestled in a truly inspirational mountain setting.
The conference will be held on the main and second floors of “The Kinnear Centre for Innovation and Creativity”, in the Husky Great Hall.

Full access to the Banff Center 12,500 square foot fitness centre, aquatic facility, climbing gym and business center are included in the nightly rate.
